I\u2019m Delphine your French teacher, and I, with my companion Adrien, welcome you to an immersion language stay in Pau, a city on a human scale in the south-west of France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Become French for one, two, or three weeks. Immersion offers you a unique opportunity to
discover French culture from within, in your teacher\u2019s family. I will be here to offer you tailor-
made private lessons adapted to your level, your project, your needs and your tastes. During
your stay, you will still have your independence in a comfortable apartment<\/a>, perfectly located in the heart of Pau historical centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between sea and mountains, Pau is a dynamic city ideally located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees. It is easy to reach thanks to its airport and its train station. No matter what the season you arrive, it is an ideal experience all year round ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why choose to learn French in an immersion program ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Immersion is a most effective way to improve your foreign language skills. It allows you to learn and practice the language in context, through daily activities while you are in real
communication situations with native speakers. In addition to the courses, you will have many
opportunities to interact with merchants, restauranteurs, tourism professionals and others
during visits and excursions. Being immersed in a French speaking universe for the whole of
your stay, you will find yourself progressing more quickly than you even imagined. Your understanding of the spoken language will evolve rapidly : most of the time students see real
progress after only a two or three days ! They gain confidence and autonomy which puts them
in a position to experience success and which motivates them to continue their learning of French.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is this for?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Whatever your desires, your language goals and your current level, I adapt to create a tailor-
made immersion stay program ! Even if you are a beginner, do not hesitate : all levels are welcome ! I am convinced that the best way to learn is to face real and concrete communication situations. Private French lessons will be adapted to your level and your needs
(personal, professional, diploma preparation, expatriation). We will define your project together before your actual arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have been learning French for several years and you feel that you are stuck, that you have stopped progressing ? Try a different appproach from books or classroooms ! The immersion I am proposing is individualized ; you will be my only student during the courses so the content will match your needs. The time spent practicing French is substantial : in addition to class time, you willl have many opportunities to talk with native speakers, watch movies, read and interact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


A week of immersion allows you to speak French for 25 hours with your teacher, and even more if you interact with locals. For some, this represents a year of practical training with traditional apprenticeship ! You will also have a great advantage : practicing today\u2019s spoken French, at times far from the frozen language you may have been confronted with (old methods or lack of oral practice for example).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026the excursions that you would like to include where Delphine will also be your guide
\u2026the length of your stay : one, two, three weeks or more if you wish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may come alone or accompanied. This immersion program can be extended to 4 students. The apartment shown in pictures is ideal for a couple or 2 friends. If you plan on coming with more than 2 people, I can offer you another accommodation option that has more bedrooms.
